Update Torrent Stoping

Hey there,
i've noticed that my Java I2P router always stops the update torrent after a short time.
When an update is available, it will be downloaded but not installed (router stays active). But very time i then look at i2psnark, the torrent is stopped without a log message:

Download finished: i2pupdate-2.4.0.su3
Starting up torrent i2pupdate-2.4.0.su3

Why is that? id like to contribute to spreading the update. But once i notice it and restart the torrent (it stays online when i enable it manually), most people obviously already got the update.

Any idea why this happens? or where to find detailed i2psnark logs on this?

Hi!

When an update is available, it will be downloaded but not installed (router stays active).

As far as I know, the update installs itself in the background without your intervention and updates the router during the next restart. Of course, an update does not terminate your session on its own, as this would also be a security risk.

Your other question should be answered by someone who uses Java-I2P.
