Testing: JS-free WebIRC and bot detector

Post by cumlord »

Have a no-js webirc now that works by refreshing the chat log, nothing exciting about that, but lets you chat across the given channels. All the available channels are relayed with other i2p IRC servers with some from ILITA and IRC2P. This will work with several bots like simpbot and ardullm, though there is no DM functionality or access to normal IRC commands. It's on http://simp.i2p/chat

The bot detector is relatively untested, as far as i can tell it works against the intended target, but i'm unsure if it will be too aggressive or obtrusive. My existing bot deterrents have been holding just fine so no reason to be applied site-wide, i'm looking to use this instead of a captcha for interactive content only. It's on http://simp.i2p/botcheck - once your browser session is accepted /chat won't ask to recheck, but this page remains accessible still. To test the auth you'll need to create new browser sessions and/or b32's.
